Software to Permanently Wipe iPod Classic Files

These Classic iPods are incorporated with the particular internal application that allows it to synchronize with a Windows or Macintosh OS X and play various audio and video files. Initially, iPod software was developed only to work with Mac OS, but the current iPods are compatible with both Mac as well as in Windows OS.
When you delete a file from your iPod Classic, the address that is pointing to the location of the file is removed, making that specific file inaccessible. Hence, files deleted from iPods are not visible but they still exist on storage devices.

Steps to wipe files from iPod Classic are as follows:
Step 1: Download Drive Wipe and install the software
Step 2: Launch the software by selecting the software from Start Menu-> Programs or by clicking on shortcut menu on desktop. Once the software is launched, the main screen appears as shown in Figure 1. Select the iPod drive from the list of logical drives and physical hard drives then click on “Next” button

Step 3: Now, Select the suitable data shredding pattern among 9 different data shredding patterns and then click on “Next” button to securely wipe the iPod as shown in figure 2

Step 4: As you click on “Next” button, confirmation message is displayed. Click on “OK” button to continue the data deletion process of selected drive.
